Questions

The ones people ask.

What Liftor is, what it costs, what it keeps and who to write to. Short answers, from what this site already says.

What is Liftor?

Liftor is a workout and meal-plan app for iPhone that rewrites today's training, food and rest every morning around how you slept, trained and recovered.

How it works, step by step

How does it decide what to change each morning?

A one-minute check-in (mood, motivation, energy, stress, hours of sleep and soreness by muscle group) and, if you allow it, sleep, resting heart rate and HRV from Apple Health. It scores your readiness from them, then rewrites today’s session, meals and rest, with a note on what changed and why.

The readiness score, explained

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants one plan for training, food and recovery that bends with the week they actually get: bulking, cutting, holding, or coming back from a break. You tell it your days, where you train, what you eat and who cooks, and it writes for that.

Which phones does it run on?

Any iPhone on iOS 15.1 or later. The download is about 130 MB. There is no iPad layout and no Android version yet.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet: Liftor is not on Google Play. Leave an address on the Android page and, the day it lands, you get one email with a code for 30% off your first payment. Nothing is sent before that.

What does Liftor cost?

It is free to download. The app shows its plans and their prices in your currency before you pay anything, and every plan is the whole app.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, on eligible plans. Apple shows the trial terms, and whether you qualify, before you subscribe. A trial is one per person. Cancel from your Apple ID at least 24 hours before it ends and nothing is charged.

How do I cancel?

Through Apple, not through Liftor: on iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Liftor. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

The Terms of Use

How old do I have to be?

At least 13. The App Store rates Liftor 13+.

The Terms of Use

Does it need an Apple Watch?

No. It reads sleep, HRV and resting heart rate from Apple Health if you let it, from whatever writes there. Without any of that, the morning check-in carries the readiness score on its own.

I train at home. Will it write for that?

Tell it where you train and what you have. It writes for that.

What is the Strength Score, and is it free?

It is a free tool on this site. Give it one set and your bodyweight and it shows a bracket, a band in words and the next rung up, using the same formula the app does. It runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere. The one-rep max and calorie calculators in the guide are free too.

What data does the app use?

What a coach needs to write your plan: your measurements and goals, your check-ins, what you lift and eat and, only if you allow it, health data from Apple Health. The coach is an AI, so the relevant parts of that data go to the AI providers the privacy policy names. You can export a report and delete your account from Settings.

Read the privacy policy

Can I try the voice logging without the app?

Yes. On the home page, hold the button and say what you ate. Your browser sends the recording to Liftor’s server, which passes it to the AI providers the privacy policy names for transcription and a nutrition estimate, and the site does not store the recording, the transcript or the result. It sets one small cookie for this, a counter that identifies nothing about you.

How the site handles it

Is any of this medical advice?

No. It is a coach. If something hurts, a doctor is the right app.

How do I reach you?

Email support@liftor.app, for a question, something broken, a press enquiry or a request about your data. A person reads it, and replies usually take a day.
